Consultation

The design process starts with a site visit and initial consultation. We will discuss the overall vision and your aspirations and needs for the garden. Following this, a written brief will be sent to you, outlining the fee structure, design process, and a summary of your goals for the space. 

Design

The next step is a topographical survey of the site, which captures the existing layout, levels, and utilities. From this, 2D concept designs and mood boards are produced. The focus at this stage is on layout rather than specific details. After the concept design is agreed upon, construction drawings and an overall masterplan are created, then hardscape materials and planting palettes will be proposed. 

Construction & Field Observation

Construction drawings are put together and sent to contractors for quotes. We work with trusted contractors who can bring the designs to life, or you are welcome to use a contractor of your choosing. Once the build is underway, we will make regular site visits to monitor progress, respond to changes, and ensure the project is built as specified. We will personally set out the plants when the build is complete.
